I am a wife and momma. I love photographs, stained glass, museums, libraries, old houses, running, and feathering my nest.


Twenty five random facts that I was asked to come up with:
 

1. I love Bearnaise sauce. I will eat it on anything and have wondered how it would taste on ice cream.

2. I have been working on my desert island list for years.

3. I prefer non-fiction.

4. I have been married twenty+ years and sometimes wish that I hadn't used up that many yet-that I could rewind and not be twenty years closer to not being married.

5. I have broken both of my legs. At different times.

6. I can't believe how old I am.

7. I have been so fortunate in so many areas of my life that I feel luckier than a lottery winner.

8. I believe in God. I don't believe that we have him as figured out as we think we do.

9. I believe everyone should have a personal philosophy.

10. I crush easily.

11. My aspirations outweigh my ambition.

12. My curiosity exceeds my intellect.

13. The most emotionally traumatic thing in my life turned out to be the most fruitful.

14. I married an unlikely mate.

15. I love to travel, but am afraid to fly.

16. I often bite off more than I can chew.

17. I never wanted to be a nurse, but I wouldn't change it now if I could.

18. I would love to have a hobby farm and live gently off the land.

19. I would love to have an apt. on the upper west side of Manhattan.

20. I consider myself an audiophile, but can't carry a tune and know nothing about music.

21. Easily irritated by gadflies and malcontents, but probably am one.

22. Learned to drive stick shift before I was eleven.

23. Drove routinely, illegally, and often unchaperoned on regular roads from the time I learned.

24. Once, when I was around  thirteen or fourteen, I had my dad's friend's old Jeep Cherokee, my sister in the passenger seat, doing donuts in a wet field until the transmission dropped out. Literally. In pieces.

25. My first pet was a homely old beagle named loggerhead.
